1.5 ohm coils suitable for 8 cylinder engines; use 3.0 ohm coils for 6 and 4 cylinder engines, except for racing applications where 1.5 ohm coils may be used.
PerTronix Flame-Thrower upgrades your stock coil to something with more wallop! Flame-Thrower coils deliver more than 40,000 V of spark energy to your plugs for fuller, more complete combustion.
They're available in a variety of primary resistance ohm versions, with either oil-filled canisters—which keep their low-resistance windings secure and cool for reliable long-term performance—or epoxy-filled canisters for extra vibration protection.
