TEMPERATURE SENDER
VDO's Brass Temperature Sender has a 1/8"-27 NPT threaded end and has a nail head style connection for a 1/4" female terminal electrical connector.
The VDO temperature sender reads to a maximum of 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
The threads on the sending unit are tapered so thread sealant is not required or recommended as it will impair the unit's ability to provide a proper reading to the gauge.
The sending unit sends a resisted ground signal of 322-18 ohms for the readout of 120F/50C to 300F/150C.
