Early VW Type 1 and 2 headlights are held in place in the headlight buckets using a series of steel retaining clips.
For:
1954-1966 Beetle
1955-1967 Type 2 Bus models.
The clips hold the lens and chrome trim ring to the headlight bucket and the bulb to the headlight ring.
Clips are sold individually and seven are required per headlight assembly (4 to fasten the trim ring to the bucket and 3 to secure the bulb to the headlight ring).
