These kits are a great upgrade on your original pedal assembly, and very simple to install. This fits 69-72 bay window.
This accelerator pedal linkage upgrade kit from Buttys Bits for VW Baywindow 1969-72 right-hand drive converts your throttle pedal from a worn vague on/off switch to a smooth progressive control and transforms the driveability of your bus.
The kit consists of: A laser cut 5mm steel replacement pivoting linkage complete with sealed ball bearing swivel section Upgraded linkage from the pedal with bolted rose joints Rose jointed link rod return spring & mounting hardware When bolting the end of your throttle cable to the linkage, tighten then undo by a half turn to allow the cable to rotate freely. Use the supplied return spring if the kit is being used with a standard carburetor. Twin carburetors will have their own return springs which are stronger than stock springs.
